| Version 8.0.a - This is an OUS process that identifies and updates orphan position class records that are associated with outdated salary group codes. It is run in OSBA only (in update mode). The process was originally developed for all institutions to run during HR FY-End Processing; however, NWPPCLS eliminated the need for it. The process can be run in four different ways: 1) Audit Mode - creates a report of the number of position classes for each distinct Salary Group and Salary Table combination; 2) Orphan Mode - creates a report that lists the detail and summary information about position classes that do not have an associated budgeted position; 3) Non-Orphan Mode - creates a report that lists the detail and summary information about position classes associated with budgeted positions; 4) Update Mode - updates ntrpcls_table rows, based on codes entered in parm 05, with the new salary group entered in parm 06; the report includes a count of the total number of rows updated. |
