| Version 8.2.b - This OUS process computes re-casted salary and fringe encumbrance amounts. These amounts are inserted into the respective "Current Fiscal Year" fields of the "Salary Encumbrance" and "Fringe Encumbrance" sections of the NBAJOBS form. The process computes encumbrance amounts only for "Active" jobs, so employees on leave status for the summer will not be encumbered until the job status is changed to active. The fringe encumbrance computation is identical to the fringe encumbrance computation within the NHPFIN1 process. This is not a required process; institutions can run this at their option. |
