GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS The ISSUING AGENT issues, exchanges, and checks in such items as uniforms, towels, clothing, locks, keys, baskets, lockers, laboratory supplies, and a variety of equipment to employees, the public, students, and faculty. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES This is a single classification and not currently part of a series of classes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS Employees in this class are in regular telephone or in person contact with employees, the public, students, and faculty to issue items, explain issuing policies, issue receipts for fee payments, and provide information on activities and schedules. They are in occasional telephone or in person contact with the physical plant to request repairs or maintenance work. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Employees in this class receive close supervision from an administrative superior through direct observation of performance. Work performed by employees in this class must also comply with operating procedures and agency policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications are not established for this classification.
